About those "minor unrealistic details"...
I know you said you don't want me to talk about them, but I must do that since I'm reviewing this movie. I gave your "style" a higher mark than your "graphics", because I think that you can still do better in terms of graphics, especially in terms of realistic body and face proportions. my suggestion to you would be to practice drawing these things frequently, until they "look right" and it's second nature to you. It may take a while...
As for the story; it's not bad as it stands right now (I recognise that this is the first episode... a lot of things are left unexplained which may be worth following up on), but I see future episodes of this running a high risk of becoming nothing more than shallow action flicks. PLEASE don't let this happen; what you should do is expand your story. There are enough cheap action flicks on Newgrounds already!
One complaint: the music is too soft, the sounds are too loud... also when the rock music starts at the, it's too loud compared to the previous music.
One final note, I generally liked how you drew your characters, but I think that the face with purple hair at the end is far less interesting than the original face for that character that you drew before he picks up the sword.
Good job!
