I think that the character graphics could be better, especially in close-ups; it's good in medium/far shots, but close up they look rushed.

Humour is pretty good, and I liked the "beep" that you have each time somebody swears. However, you can still hear the swear word during the beep! It's just not as funny that way. I demand authenticity! :P

Overall, I think you have a good thing going here; a character winning a fight through his own inneptness. :)

I'm very conflicted on this...

On the one hand, bravo for doing a flash about one of EAP's poems! On the other hand, the narrator was generally very bad. No poetic inflection at all! Not only that, but I wish you'd give your characters voices as well; make their mouths move when they speak (within the story, that is, obviously the narrator wouldn't be moving his lips the whole time since it's mostly flashback). You did it for the crow when it said "nevermore", but honestly that was pretty bad "lipsynching".
Graphics were good, but I do wish you hadn't used the house from Los Dias Sin Dias. Couldn't you have changed it in some way? I mean, it was EXACTLY the same, and pretty shameless (although you did admit that you took it from that flash, it still left a pretty bad taste in my mouth)...
The concept of this is brilliant though, and the music fit it perfectly. Please make another version! :)

C'est vraiment magnifique! Je dois vous dire que cette animation est une des meilleurs animations que j'ai vue sur Newgrounds. Pourquoi est-ce que le score n'est pas plus haut?! La musique, la conception des caractères, la prémisse... toutes ces choses sont absolument parfait!
J'ajoute ceci à ma liste de favorites... :D

I'm sorry, but I have to agree

There are some humourous parts in the flash, but on the whole it's really nothing special. I don't really see why so many people here like it.

The graphics, for one thing, are very messy and almost completely unpolished (frankly, they stink. I can't believe that this was your "major animation" for animation class! What school/university/college/institute was it?). The humour was spot-on at times (such as the evil knight's voice and the piggy scene) but mostly it was tired cliches and insulting to my intelligence.

I WOULD like to see a sequel nevertheless, but please, put more effort into it. I'm as amazed as you are at why this has such a high score. :p

That was great!

The music was perfect, although I noticed at the very end that it was repeating itself. The storyboarding of the flash was also perfect, although the executions could have been better. What I mean is, you have to work on doing more realistic-looking splashes and movements!

I really liked the humour in it, esp. the end where you show the bottom of the lake and we find out why the goblins were so mad at him!

Please make the voices louder

Excellent animation, although you can sometimes tell that the characters are made up of several different parts.

Also, whoever did the voice acting for the rabbit at the end was brilliant; the rest of the voice acting was just average (it sure it could get better, though).

The main problem is simply that the voices are too quiet & difficult to hear.

Overall, I'm looking forward to your next effort.

May I ask how you draw your characters? Do you draw on paper & then scan or use a tablet, or something else?

You know...

This is the only flash I've ever come upon that runs choppily on my computer, even at the medium setting, and I've been on Newgrounds for a long time! You should really think about making it a little more friendly for people who haven't spent $30000 for the latest supercomputer. ;)

Other than that, it was superb in almost every way. The only thing is that the voices sounded sometimes a bit too muffled to make out.

What a turnaround!

It's interesting to see how the clock crew has transformed from mindless fans of Strawberry Clock (whose flashes were worse than crap) to artists who can collaberate and make something like this (although I think the Clock Crew's best artist is still FourChinnigan, its most independent member). This was a fairly good flash. I hope it's a sign of things to come! :)

If you guys want to see more good Clock Crew flashes, I reccommend you look at the flashes by Fourchinnigan!
