First of all, this is not pixel art. Please look at shadow-wolf1's art submissions for an example of what pixel art IS.

As for the work on its own terms, I don't really see anything special about it. It's a quick sketch done on the computer, coloured red, with song lyrics pasted behind it. It looks fairly generic to me. I can't imagine that it took a lot of time, and I'm not sure why some people are giving it 10s; I guess you must have a fan club of people who follow your work. Which is good for you. But I would hardly give this a 10. rtil's submission "Down"? That's a 10.

Anything done in MS paint means pixel art to me :P. Also this was old work...infact all the pics I upload are old. Newer ones are jsut to big I guess XDDD working on that problem. Oh yeah it didn't take long :D. and no...I don't...

Excellent sketch

Looks very nice. Much better than the previous two things you submitted, I think. Also, the darkness near the top makes it look suitably gloomy, even though that was probably accidental. One thing I'd suggest is maybe making the ear a little more detailed (yes, ears are hard).

Heh... okay, this is pretty funny. :)

A bit messy and could use some more details (for example, maybe put red veins on the back of the eyes? Or maybe not), but it has great energy and sense of fun. I like it. Very funny how you have two mouths and three slobbering tongues... :)

By the way, what is that drawn on his shirt?

Well drawn. Be sure to upload some more of these. I'm pretty sure that photographs of artworks are not considered to be "photographs".

If I were to critique, the tail does look a little unnatural - it looks like a solid block rather than feathers.

Great painting, I love the minimalist shapes and colours.

Question: why is the resolution so tiny? Is this an inherent trait of the art portal, that you can't submit things in bigger resolutions?...

There's a limit of 4mil px. but I seem to have trouble uploading on this connection. I have full quality photos on my hard drive which show all the detail on the sky scrapers on the horizon. If anyone needs more info PM me. Thanks for the positive comments. Glad you thought the minimalism worked in its favour. :)
